Hamlet Summary & Analysis – Thug Notes On BET

What it do son? This week we goin HAM wit Hamlet by William Shakespeare.

Up in his swanked-out castle, Prince Hamlet get word from a ghost lookin’ like his old man dat he was iced by his own brutha, Claudius. SO Hamlet’s uncle not only merced Hamlet’s daddy, but he ALSO bangin his MAMA! Hamlet spend most of da play actin’ like too much of a bitch to git dat revenge. Eventually, tho, our boy nuts up and wrecks Claudius. But then he die too.

Through most of da play Hamlet won’t get off his lazy bitch ass and kill Claudius. What is dis cat waitin’ fo?

Some say it’s cuz Hamlet too much of a candy-ass to kick it in a world of gangstas playin dirty. Otha’s thinkin there be some Oedipal Complex goin on in dis muthafucka and Hamlet jus’ aint got da juice to kill da man dat doin what he wanna do: Pork his mama and kill his daddy. Whatever da hell it be- Hamlet jus’ cain’t make up his damn mind.

Matta’ fact, we peepin dat uncertainty in his famous “To be or not to be” jam. Most hustlas think he sayin he don’t know if we wanna live or die, otha’s think he can’t decide whetha’ it’s right to kill Claudius or jus’ leave a brutha be.

Shit man this play PACKED with uncertainties: Was Hamlet’s mama in on the whole thing? Was da ghost really Hamlet’s daddy? Was he tha devil? I could go on playa.

But what’s fo damn certain is y’all gotta check out my Youtube channel.
Ya heard? Until next time, peace!
